Animal Welfare
Healthy cows live a longer and happier life. In turn, they produce milk that is sustainable, highly nutritious, and great for your child.
Biodiversity
Biodiversity is really important to our farmers! To help farmers ensure the sustainability of their farms, we created the Biodiversity Monitor to measure each farm's influence on biodiversity on the farm and beyond. This way, farmers can take steps to cultivate a thriving ecosystem in their farm, while also reducing its burden on the environment.
Carbon Footprint
We go above and beyond to reduce our emissions. Our goal is to produce climate neutrality by 2050. To do that, we've been lowering our energy consumption, generating sustainable energy, reducing emissions from manure storage, and supporting our farmers in projects they do to reduce their footprint.
Meadow Grazing
Did you know that farmers benefit from healthy and happy cows because they produce high-quality milk? That's why they let cows freely graze outdoors, as long as the weather permits.
Why not all the time? Cows do not like soggy meadows where little grows. The grass and soil need to be in good shape. If it is too soggy, the cows trample the ground. Then the grass cannot grow and the cows cannot graze.
